Level 7 Post EHR Review – Although many practices have purchased new PMS and EHR applications, many practices have not realized the operational and clinical benefits of their new technologies. To assist practices, AC Group has created a new service designed to review and to optimize a practice’s operational effectiveness. Under this service, experienced consultants will review how the practice is using the new technologies and will suggest operational changes based on best practices. Based on similar studies, we have identified more than 60 categories of operational effectiveness.
In many cases we have noticed that initial training was not based on best practice workflows or the product was not configured effectively to insure operational effectiveness. In this case, the consultants will suggest changes on how the software is configured and used by the staff.
In other cases, the expected Return on Investment (ROI) was never realized. In this case, the consultant works with the practice to document actual improvements in revenue capture and reductions in operational costs. We will also suggest operational changes designed to improve revenue capture and cost reduction designed to improve your ROI.
